You feel anxious and jittery and can’t keep your mind focused on what is in front of you. You are constantly overthinking and stuck in your own head, replaying that scene with your coworker again and again. You’ve tried reasoning with yourself, and telling yourself that your fears are irrational, but it never seems to work. You feel anxious and exhausted, and just wish you could find some peace.
You’ve likely been struggling with this for a while, but recently you’ve realized that what you are doing hasn’t been working. It is so painful to feel alone in your anxiety and like you can’t find a moment of peace. If you’re reading this now, it’s because a part of you knows that you can feel better and you don’t have to keep trying to figure it out alone.
How I help:
My name is Becky, and I know that you don’t have to do this alone. It doesn’t have to be this hard. I am here to support you in helping you find relief, grow, and find greater self-acceptance. Through or work together, I’ll support you managing your anxiety. I will help you cope the anxious thoughts and feelings, so that they won’t take up as much of your headspace. We will work with self-compassion to help you be able to care for yourself even when things are hard. I will provide a supportive space to explore and understand the causes of your anxiety, and what you can do to address it instead of letting it control you. We will incorporate mindfulness tools so you can manage the thoughts and feelings that arise with a greater sense of ease. Through compassionate therapy and mindfulness techniques, I will help you feel understood, less anxious, and more present in your daily life.
