Or perhaps you just started a new job that you were really excited about, but are realizing that the transition might be harder than you expected. Maybe you’re getting out of a significant relationship, or have recently lost a loved one, and are struggling to feel like yourself. You push yourself to put on a happy face and try to meet people, but inside you still end up feeling alone and would rather stay home and watch TV. You feel uncertain, and question why you made this decision. You feel sad and lonely, and miss the comfort of your old life.
You’ve likely been feeling like if you can just stick it out and push through, it will get better. It is so painful to feel alone in your feelings of sadness, anxiety, overwhelm, stress, fear, uncertainty, and more. If you’re reading this now, it’s because a part of you knows that you don’t have to do this alone and that you deserve support. How I help:
My name is Becky, and I know that you don’t have to do this alone. It doesn’t have to be this hard. Through or work together, I’ll support you in feeling less alone. I will help you cope with these challenges and find ways to find joy amidst the uncertainty. We will work with self-compassion to help you be able to care for yourself even when things are hard. I will help you feel more confident about your ability to manage these changes so you can approach each day with less anxiety and with a greater sense of ease. Through supportive and compassionate therapy, I will help you embrace these changes, feel less alone, and gain confidence in yourself.
