My name is Becky, and I know that there is another way. I am here to support you in helping you find relief, grow, and find greater self-acceptance. Through or work together, I’ll support you in making peace with your body. I will help you manage negative body image thoughts and incorporate mindfulness tools so you can manage the thoughts and feelings that arise with a greater sense of ease. We will work with self-compassion to help you be able to care for yourself even when things are hard. I will provide a supportive space to explore and understand the emotions and underlying beliefs that may be showing up as discomfort in your body. We will explore, name, and challenge the larger systems and relational experiences you may have had that have told you that your body determines your worth, that certain bodies are valued more than others, and that you aren’t enough exactly as you are. Through compassionate and supportive therapy, I will help you accept yourself and your body so you can live your life without spending so much time distracted by how you look.
